1. Books

   My favorite writer is Eileen Chang, a Chinese female writer who "sought to recount the seemingly irrelevant details and experiences of daily life of ordinary men and women in periods of social change and violence" and "displayed colours, lines, and moods in her writing and juxtaposition of historical reality with the domain of domesticity".(source:Wikipedia)

2. Music

   I like to listen music in Mandarin or in Cantonese. Singers like Faye Wong, Eason Chan and Miriam Yeung.

3. Movies

   My favorite directors include Kar-Wai Wong, Ang Lee and Zhangke Jia. They are really talented ones who have real passion to their work.They have made many fascinating works that have a niche in the history of films.

   After watching a movie, I will mark it on Douban.

Traveling

I love traveling and exploring the blessings hidden in a city. Next is all the cities I have gone to by plane(In fact, I prefer traveling by traditional train rather than high-speed railway or plane. However, due to the affect of COVID-19, the increasing risk of infection made me give up taking a long-time trip in traditional train).

Writing

In my free time, I sometimes post my feelings, travelogues or film reviews on my Wechat public account. The content of the official account has nothing to do with academics and my major, but I would be really glad if you are willing to learn about the other side of me in this way.
