Bio

I am a graduate student in the second grade majoring in Space Science at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). I like space science and computer applications, as well as passionate about my work.

I'm interested in The Middle and Upper Atmosphere. And I have several research and project experiences in the relevant area. As a motivated practitioner, I believe these experiences contribute directly to my ability of various aspects. Want to know more click Research and feel free to contact me!

In my spare time I'd like to live my life in an alternative way. I am a newbie on Linux but very curious about that. It's chronicle about the exciting and troublesome experiences gained while diving into the Linux and coding. Php and Python is also very interesting and powerfull. It's a happy time to Deal wiyh them. And I want to join the cycling and desire for long-distance riding experience. I believe riding will help myself stay healthy and have a better understanding of my life.

I was the deputy director of Association Supervision Committee of USTC. It is an administrative agency services in more than 70 student clubs of USTC. It was a memorable time with a group of talented friends together in order to make our community a better development.

Linux

I am still a newbie on linux but like it and believe it could do anything you want. I am proudly using Debian as my desktop operating system, it's stable, fast and easy to use. CentOS is the distribution of choice for my computing cluster! it's stable, high-performance good-compatibility and well worth your effort to try.

There are many other alternative solutions: Archlinux is cool, fast, flexible and easy to use. Keep it simple, stupid (KISS principle) is really cool! Ubuntu is easy to use and openSUSE is choice for KED lover.

It is a good idea starting Linux if you want to be different.

Latex

Latex is not only a typesetting for professional research papers.LaTeX allows you to clearly separate the content from the format of your document.It's a Markup Language different from WYSIWYG. If you do not have the money to buy MS office, Latex is the Best choice. And once you try you do not want to put down!

In my daily use: Latex for article, Xelatex for Chinese and Beamer for slides&poster!

LAMP

Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP known as a "LAMP". It's a cool thing if you have a website. You can have more opportunities if you know some website experiences and database foundation. PHP and MySQL is an easy and free way to get all of them.
