My name is TANG Ao

Hello, this is TANG Ao. I'm now a 2nd year Ph.D. student at the department of Electronic Engineering and Information Science(EEIS), University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), supervised by Prof. Jiebo Luo from University of Rochester, Prof. Houqiang Li from USTC and Dr. Tao Mei from Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA). I received my Bachelor's degree on Electrical Engineering from USTC, in 2012.

Currently, I work as a research intern in Microsoft Search Technology Center(STC) and Microsoft Research Asia(MSRA). Prior to joining MSRA, I had been a research assistant in Microsoft Key Laboratory of Multimedia Computing and Communication in USTC, from 2012 to 2013, and a research intern in Innovation Engineer Group (IEG) in MSRA, from 2011 to 2012.

I love Sports, especially Cycling and Hiking. I also love Photography and Watching Movies. I am the founder of QingYueHui.com, which is a Social Network Site(SNS) to help people host and find dating activities around. To know more about me, please refer to my resume.

AForge.NET

AForge.NET is a C# framework designed for developers and researchers in the fields of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence - image processing, neural networks, genetic algorithms, machine learning, robotics, etc.[Link]

Accord.NET

Accord.NET is a framework for scientific computing in .NET. The framework builds upon AForge.NET, an also popular framework for image processing, supplying new tools and libraries. Those libraries encompass a wide range of scientific computing applications, such as statistical data processing, machine learning, pattern recognition, including but not limited to, computer vision and computer audition. The framework offers a large number of probability distributions, hypothesis tests, kernel functions and support for most popular performance measurements techniques.[Link]

The CImg Library

The CImg Library is a small, open source, C++ toolkit for image processing.[Link]

LibGDX

Libgdx is a cross-platform game development library written in Java, with some JNI code for performance hungry sections. It abstracts away the differences between writting desktop, Android, iOS and HTML5 games based on standards like OpenGL ES/WebGL. Applications can be prototyped and developed entirely on the desktop, then only 6 lines of code are needed to run your app on Android or HTML5.[Link]

Shark Machine Learning Library

SHARK is a fast, modular, feature-rich open-source C++ machine learning library. It provides methods for linear and nonlinear optimization, kernel-based learning algorithms, neural networks, and various other machine learning techniques (see the feature list below). It serves as a powerful toolbox for real world applications as well as research.[Link]
