Google Earth
I came into contact with EDVR(Video Restoration with Enhanced Deformable)
in early 2021, it is a unified framework suitable for various video restoration tasks, such as super-resolution and deblurring.
Due to some reason, the Google Earth is not very clear in China, I thought it might be helpful to use EDVR to deblur
the satellite map, so I did an experiment. The first picture below is a screenshot of a block from Google Earth, the building
with swimming pool in the bottom right corner of the picture is the Chengdu U.S. Consulate. The second picture is after processing,
it add some details and pixels and change the origin picture into high resolution, but it seems that there is still a lot of work
need to be done to make the satellite map more clearer.
