Coarse to fine fabrication of large object.
{
This project combines 3D printing and 2D laser cutting for cost-effective fabrication of large
objects at lower cost and higher speed. Our key approach is to first build coarse internal base
structures within the given 3D object using laser-cutting, and then attach thin 3D-printed parts,
as an external shell, onto the base to recover the fine surface details.

I finished the code of model segmentation, namely, partition mesh into small fabricable parts
based on the inner polyhedrons and avoid obvious seams going through the important regions on
surface, and generate the connectors for assembling.

Support structure generation for 3D printing.
{
This is my undergraduate graduation design, I improved an existing algorithm of tree-like support
structure generation for 3D printing. The experimental results show advantages compared with
Cura and MeshMixer.

Fast color transfer from multiple images .
{
This project presents an effective algorithm to transfer colors from multiple images to target image
by simple interaction, which combines color transfer and local linear embedding(LLE). And the
algorithm is accelerated by sampling the image.
{
I focused on writing the code of color transfer and local linear embedding, and also the paper
writing of algorithm.
Image & Geometry processing.
{
Skilled at Eigen library. Aware of common optimization methods, and can use Matlab Optimization
Toolbox, Ipopt, Ceres Solver skillfully.
{
Know the fundament of image processing. Implemented some image processing algorithms, like
color transfer, image warping, Poisson image editing, diffusion curves, etc.
{
Proficient in halfedge data structure and OpenMesh library, and good at triangular mesh precessing.
Implemented some classical algorithm such as mesh parametrization, remeshing, surface smoothing,
ICP registration and so on.
