About Me

About

Currently, I'm a Ph.D. student of Prof. Xu Kong and Dr. Hong-Xin Zhang at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), working on the orgins of the extragalactic compact stellar systems, and the spatially resolved star formation and evolution of nearby galaxies. Meanwhile, I'm a joint Ph.D. student of Prof. Gary Fuller and Dr. George Bendo at The University of Manchester, where I'm studying the extragalactic star formation in the radio, millimetre, and submillimetre. Also, I used to be a joint student of Dr. Xufen Wu at USTC, working on the kinematics and dynamics of ring galaxies. I major in Astronomy and Astrophysics, and my research interests are focused on the formation and evolution of nearby galaxies.
Lastly and most importantly, Caijuan Yue, a USTC Ph.D. student as well, is my fiancée.
