Research Experience
Undergraduate Research Program: details
The Undergraduate Research Program is more like a reading group, but I think I benefited the most from this project - this can be the change point in my college life because it made me interested in doing research. The project spanned a year and enabled me to use my spare time to read papers and write code on modern ML topics. More importantly, this direction (theoretical ML) is the one I am interested in the most, and I am planning to extend this project to my graduation thesis.
I started my remote internship at the University of Toronto in January 2024 and have been working on it ever since. I am very fortunate to work with two outstanding USTC alumni, Qiang Sun and Hansheng Jiang! For more details, please see my CV.
