Introduction
什么是数学建模？
指的是设计创意模型和经验模型，模型分析以及模型研究。简单得讲就是通过建立现实和理论的联系，用数学的方法解决实际问题。
什么是数模竞赛？
就是在有限的时间内做数学建模。但你必须明白
实际的工程问题远不是这么几天时间就可以解决，这就好比Algorithm和ICPC的关系，竞赛毕竟只是竞赛而已。

我为什么要参加数模竞赛？
- 促使自己学更多的数学 很多学长在将来从事科研事业的时候，都常常会感到自己的数学不够用，后悔自己当时没有多学一点数学，我想数学建模可以让你知道自己学的东西还很少，同时也让你明白数学的重要性。
- 荣誉 不过我得承认，现在数模竞赛已经不“值钱”了，原因主要是 1.门槛太低2.获得的成绩没有足够好
- 锻炼自己的能力 包括团队合作的能力，阅读和搜索Paper的能力，软件使用能力，当然还有便是建模能力啦。
- 给自己的大学找件事做
